My parents and I just got home from visiting family in western New York state over a long weekend. Wednesday night before we left, I was checking my new Kindle Fire HD to see if I had enough interesting books on there to keep me entertained for the trip. When I got into the room I was going to be sleeping in at Grandma’s house, I had to laugh at myself a little, because I had completely forgotten something: you don’t need a kindle at Grandma’s house! Books of every type (mostly the best kind: old!) are in almost every room of the house, lining the shelves with a hundred different worlds waiting to be explored. I hardly had any time to read while I was out there, but I did read a few poems by Longfellow before I went to sleep the first night!
(Sorry about the odd picture arrangement – I’ll mess with it later)
